The Brief
Ubisoft needed music for a trailer for Rainbow Six Siege, one of the most successful tactical shooter franchises in gaming. The brief called for something unexpected: a spaghetti western sound that would cut through the noise of typical gaming trailers and give the campaign a distinctive cinematic edge.
The Selection
Our track “Galloping Along the River” was submitted through a sync licensing partner alongside numerous competing options. The track’s authentic spaghetti western atmosphere, with its dusty guitars, tension-building arrangements and cinematic scope, matched exactly what Ubisoft was looking for.
In a competitive selection process, the track was chosen for its ability to bring a fresh sonic identity to the franchise while maintaining the intensity and drama that Rainbow Six Siege demands.
The Result
“Galloping Along the River” was selected as the music for the Rainbow Six Siege trailer, bringing an unexpected western flavour to one of gaming’s most recognised tactical franchises. A placement that proves how distinctive catalogue music can elevate a campaign beyond the expected.
